My approach
My name is Caitlin Anderson. I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern serving the Treasure Coast and the state of Florida. I work with children, teens, individuals, and families who are experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, relationship issues, difficulty with emotional regulation, challenges with social skills, communication, self-harm, parenting, behavioral issues, and substance abuse. Life has its challenges and my goal is to help guide you and develop coping strategies to promote healing, so you can achieve your most authentic life. I focus on social-emotional skills to help children and adolescents develop tools to identify and express feelings effectively and set boundaries in a healthy way.

My passion in life is working with children and their families to help them heal past trauma, break harmful generational patterns, and connect on a deeper level with effective communication skills. With my prior educational background, I work to identify each families’ needs and desires and transform them into goals. I incorporate play therapy with music, art, nature, and literature to enhance each child’s strengths and improve their confidence.

I am located in Downtown Stuart, Florida at The Stuart Center for Couples and Families. I also offer Telehealth appointments for your comfort and convenience.
