My Background
I was born and raised in Martin County and I’m honored to be serving our community in the mental health field. I graduated from the University of North Florida with my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. My educational background has enhanced my therapeutic practice through my knowledge and experience with childhood development.
Child & Adolescent Approach
Children (ages five & up) and teens are welcomed into a judgment free zone, where they are encouraged to be a kid. We explore emotions and learn tools through play therapy with art, music, literature, and nature. Play therapy allows kids to be curious and paves the path for growth and change. Some topics we cover are social- emotional regulation, creating and maintaining relationships, safe choices, family dynamics, and so much more. Teens need a safe space to navigate school, friendships, and developmental issues as they arise. I am here to support you and your child on their journey!
